Shoe Review aims to publish as many credible comparative reviews of production footwear commonly available for sale in Australia and New Zealand.

Whilst some studies available on this site may also include subjective elements (eg. comments of the wear tester regarding comfort, general fit, 'ride', etc), the purpose is to publish predominantly objective studies, with consistent tests performed on each shoe within the review.

These reviews may also include intervention studies including the effect of orthoses.

To assist consumers and podiatrists in their selection of footwear.

Provide a platform to disseminate credible research of footwear in Australia.

School shoes: what to look for when buying quality school shoes.

Work boots: testing comfort and performance of workboots outside of the Australia & New Zealand safety standards.
